You may have heard the UPS is in quite the political fight with FEDEX. Though both are package-delivery companies, they're governed by totally different federal labor rules. As a result, UPS's workforce is much more heavily unionized than FEDEX's—and more than twice as expensive.
So now UPS is trying to get FEDEX reclassified under federal law as a way of screwing a competitor. That's horrendous, but it also makes a sick kind of business sense. And it also reveals the real villain: A government that is big enough to absolutely, positively guarantee it can screw any business. Overnight.
"UPS Vs. FEDEX" was produced by Meredith Bragg and Nick Gillespie (who also hosts). Approximately two minutes long.

The author of this video is an idiot and has no clue about what UPS is trying to accomplish with the new FAA bill. Make it a level playing field. FedEx has been mis-using this classification to strong-arm its people for decades. I don' care which company gets reclassified, but let both operate under the same rules.
Amen! Violence is the ultimate evil, whether that be done to a person's property or body. The income tax is evil, but what is truly evil is the IRS physically putting you in prison for not paying it. By working hard one is producing for society in many ways, yet the soul-less bureaucrats/politicians have the audacity to take a large chunk of your hard earned money away and give it to people who did not earn it (including themselves). The day of reckoning is coming. A libertyrevolution is brewing
@DEEPGNOSTIC: You should be asking why should UPS be subject to the federal labor laws that it is. Not why shouldn't everyone else be subject to the same cost-increasing, anachronistic laws as UPS.
fed ex aka federal express (overnight air the original company) is different from fed ex-ground(formerly RPS) , fed ex-freight , fed ex-custom critical...etc. this split allows them to use multiple systems. fed ex ground and fed ex custom critical are contracted employment, or owner operator. another way around the union and law. furthermore you cant generalize your shipping experience, it is like any other service provider, careless people do hurt the system! whether it is ups or fedex...

:(
when labor unions use government guns to prevent employers from hiring others... that is anti-freedom.
Current labor laws are anti-freeedom.
This video is in support of freedom, which would allow workers to "organize" but employers can hire whoever they want.
