There is a misconception that railroading is supposed to be serious.... The company I work for, I guess I am the clown of the bunch. People usually say they like working with me the best incidentally. I don't really like to work with the guys that are always looking at life like they are getting screwed by the "company", and life in general. If people stood back and assessed the situation, they would see that if they laughed a bit more, things would be a lot smoother for everyone.

I'd be proud to ride with that engineer any day of the week. At least he doesn't drive himself nuts trying to be too serious. Blowing off a little steam now and then keeps everyone awake.

Hi bowjasmi, just to let you know, this part of our track (Subdivision) is what we call "black track territory" (no signals). It's also straight as an arrow for 12 miles.
