Dont drive while tired.We teach our kids about drunk driving. Why not teach them about tired driving? I fell asleep. Then woke up. Kept driving. I figured that I was only 15 min away from home. I could make it. WRONG. I was never taught to pull over. I thought I could make it home. I also had the heat on and the windows up. I was never taught to not have the heat on while tired. I should have been taught to have the windows down and no heat on. I didnt know. I have learned my lesson from this. I was 18 at the time. I am now 27.

I completely agree that driving while being tired is not good at all, but you are also 18 and a newer driver... this happens alot during that age group, tired or not.

hey misskaryn, this video is amazing...i too have fallen asleep while driving (never crashed thankfully) so i know how it is to just wanna go that extra half a mile to get to bed or wherever....but although it sucks to see you lose your car and injure yourself and your friend, im very glad to know that you fully recoverded from this. kudos for a very informative video!

wow, your lucky you got off with a broken leg. i had a similar incedent a couple of years back and ended up hitting the kerb at the other side of the road. got off with just a busted wheel, but i know the feeling of dosing off while driving!
