Yes it is pd. the 2012 jetta tho is Cr (common rail) which is more efficient and quieter. I would love a 2012 jetta still il stick with my 2007 jetta.

you have no grip because TDI creates more torque than a gasoline engine.

@salazaR6 i'm pretty sure it is a PD (pumpe-duse) engine not a VB - they stopped making them circa 2000
