  • These look like they are awesome. Where can u get them? They pull the stock toward the fence?

  • @woodentoolcompany

The sandpaper covered roller drums are angled toward the fence. When you push forward, the wood goes to the fence with about 10 pounds side force for each rollerguide.

  • @boughttheticket Really reminds me of my homemade tablesaw feeder. Thats what I did. Angled the wheels toward the fence. Only difference is I put a motor on it! Awesome looking tool though.

Thanks- Lots of design time has gone into these, and 20 years of using them at the woodworking shows led me to many improvements. Nothing like using a product to find it's weak points so you can make it better.

  • except cutting veneers on a table saw is about as cost efficient as buying cheesy weekend warrior gimmicks.

  • @LikeYesterdaysTuesda

Cutting veneers up to 5" wide on a tablesaw is faster than on a band saw and they come out almost planed. No band saw, no problem. Use a thin kerf blade (down to .62 available) to save lumber. Why plane and sand down a lousy bandsaw cut when a tablesaw does a better job?

I don't expect the surface you get from a thickness sander (they don't cut a board very fast.) What you do get is a cut as good as your blade will cut, the entire length of the cut.. That is why power feeders are used on shapers. These are a feeder for tablesaws- that set up in 3 seconds.

The cuts are much better than any bandsaw cut I have ever seen especially up to 2.5" high.

  • Nice.... Clear and simple to follow...

  • I've been building roller jigs like this for 20 years, but, youre is much more complete. Very good, the only drawback is the need for a steel fence. But, it's still a great completion of the perfect featherboard! Well Done!

  • Where can you get them?

  • @boughttheticket That's awesome. It make for an accurate cut, and it's really safe.
