Nice video. Beautiful scenery, as always, up there. Every turn is better than the last. How could that be? But it is in the high country of CO.

@JeepsterGal 12 years eh? Cool! You seem like a pro with CO. Grass snakes are'nt much of a problem to me, but I really do hate snakes. As for my ideal living place, I just want to live in a small town that's pretty quiet, tranquil, adventurous and a good view of nature. I saw a couple of your vids, and a mountain view is pretty much my description. Plus the fact that its cold is a plus since I live in CT, and am pretty used to cold weather.

My wife and I spend as much of our summer up in silverton on our ATV makes me pine for July and the beginning of our ride year up there
You wouldnt happen to know if there are any dangerous types of snakes in Colorado would you? I really would like to move there, but I just got out of seeing True Grit (John Wayne version) and it stated basically that Colorado has rattle snakes. I'm not letting this notion effect my choice to move to Colorado, but I'm still curious about the severity of snakes in the state. Also, do u know a good place to live in Colorado? Don't exactly know a good place that would be cheap for a college kid. XP!

@Brawlmaster1221 I've lived here 12 years and have never seen rattlesnakes. If they exist, perhaps they are in the Four corners area of the state, which is more desert-ish. I walk through high grass in the mountains all the time and have never encountered one. the only snakes I've seen are harmless little grass snakes, which I think are in every state. LOL. Regarding a place to live, it completely depends on what you want/need. I've heard Fort Collins is a great college town and less expensive.

Can't hardley watch your videos, makes me miss the San Juan's MTN'S so much..
How was lake Emma drained accidentally?
backruns 2 months ago
@backruns Turns out they were excavating underneath the Lake for a mining tunnel and nicked the lakebed, draining the lake completely down the mountain through the tunnel and flooding out the mine below. It occurred on a Sunday, so no one was working or killed.

@ckdunham Hey there, this was actually from July 2010, I'm sad to say I'm just now getting around to editing it and publishing it :) I was there in September 2011, but didn't do much offroading. Hope to make it back out in summer 2012 though!
