Harry Potter: Hogwarts 90210? Ron, Lavender, Hermione Dating Drama

Right now we're discussing all of the drama amid the action in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

DANA: Okay, so we're going to start off with Ron Weasley and his dating dilemma. We know that he and Hermione Granger go way back and there's a bit more than friendship going on between the wizardly pair. However, in an effort to instill some serious jealousy on her, Ron decides to be quite boy-ish and starts to date another girl. Strangely enough, it seems that Ron isn't even 100-percent INTO Lavender, but he really wants his true crush to think he can snog girls - especially Lavender - whenever he chooses.

JOSLYN: I am totally on team Hermione, so in my opinion Lavender doesn't fit in at all-the only good thing about her is that she probably helps these two love birds realize how much they really care. Hermione's relationship with Ron is so much more that just a fun little tryst-which is pretty much what's going on between Ron and Lavender. Personally I think that Hermione and Ron have a really deep relationship. After Ron begins dating Lavender, it's obvious that Hermione is less that thrilled. She goes as far as to conjure a flock of canaries to attack him, which injure him so badly that the two longtime friends stop talking.

hey dana joslyn in the movie that is not what happened you are supposed to be doing movie reviews maybe thats what happened in the book (haven't read it yet NO SPOILERS) in the movie Lavender breaks up with Ron after Ron gets poisoned and when he's unconcious he says Hermione in his sleep and Lavender hears. get the difference between the book and the movie.
