Also, if there's ANYTHING anyone can think of in terms of how a Canadian can join the US effort and help you guys overcome this, please let me know. And always keep in mind: You have (most) of the Canadians support on this one. Ok, now I will officially shut up and stop posting. My apologies again (I blame Kathy :P lol)

I also sincerely hope that (although, unfortunately, as is the usual case with youtube posting) you guys actually got what I was trying to say and that no one is going to tell me that I was being pompous and arrogant, because that really is not what I was trying to do. I can only hope that my words don't get misconstrued and that you guys get what I was trying to say about how I felt despite my trouble in putting it in better words. Thank you Kathy for stirring up these emotions in me.

because I feel like "Ok, now that I've got gay marriage and achieved a milestone goal here in my own country, now its time to make myself useful somehow to my neighbours. Americans and Canadians share alot of commonalities, and I almost feel like I should feel guilty and not enjoy my (gay-related) rights until the Americans (and the rest of the world) can too. Sorry for the lengthy message, but I just had some trouble getting out how I feel about this...

Also, in NO WAY am I saying that Canada and its policies on homosexuality are 100% perfect, but it just makes me wish there was something I could do to help my gay brothers and sisters in the US fight for their rights. I really wish there was some way I could use Canada's (successful) history regarding fighting for gay rights and help you guys out in the US. It INFURIATES me that my neighbours to the south STILL have to deal with this bullshit, and sometimes I even feel guilty ...(Cont'd..)
