Oradour-sur-Glane, Nazi horror

On my travels through France, i visited Oradour-sur-Glane in the region of Limousin. I wad deeply touched of what I saw. Nazis had completely destroyed the village, burning it and its inhabitants. Since that day, everything has been left as it was then. Buildings, cars, bikes, prams, furnitures... Everything is still there...

My husband, our two sons and I visited Oradour Sur Glane in August 2009 whilst staying near Limoges.

It is hard to put into words our emotions of how we felt walking through the preserved village and to imagine the tragedy that took place in 1944. We should never forget history.

I visited Oradour last year as well and like you was very moved by the what is there. I find it difficult to put into words but I would say that you have captured the essence of what happened here with this music and picture montage with occasional script - well done
