This is a video of the fight for a grade school in the Cree community of Attawapiskat. Students from across Canada are being asked to fight for the principle that all children in Canada have the right to attend proper schools with proper funding.

The fight being led by the children of Attawapiskat has been recognized by the International Children's Peace Prize Committee. Young Shannen Koostachin from Attawapiskat has been nominated for the 2008 International Children's Peace Prize. Keep fighting kids, we will win.

The children of Attawapiskat are taking their fight to Ottawa. They will be in Ottawa on May 28 for a press conference calling for a direct meeting with Chuck Strahl. The Ontario High School Teachers Federation is co-hosting an event for them in 371 West Block at noon. On May 29 they will march in the national Day of Action. We now have over 100 schools active in the campaign.
