This was a fun one! They are getting harder to do because of time commitments. My art director (wife) for DrakePin-up is amazing! She has been sharing her Sunday's with this process. Otherwise, this one would not of happened. This week, I was trying to paint more and focus less on the line work. This was all created in Photoshop.

I like the no line look. There are tons of comic book artist and tons of realism artists. Now we see the beginning of "Drake Style" which is something in between.

Great work scot, just letting you know my opinion here. Yes the work you showed here in this video is awesome, but i thnk that with pin up styles, especially yours, works really well with line work instead of the painting way. Your really good with the line work and the way you do the lines, the thickness, length, the way you color them, with your style of pin up, its way better that way. Tell your wife that she's awesome for being you art director, she really knows what she's doing!

hey a tutorial would be nice but hey if everybody could do it, it wouldn't be special anymore... For everyone that is the best their must be someone that sucks or he wouldn't be the best anymore. =)
