@IDiggSocialMedia Today the vast majority of "mindless, senseless racism" you speak of is Black against or Hisp. against White crime violence. Blacks committed 38.4% of the murders & 51.3% of the robberies & 21.5% of the rapes in the U.S. in 2010. This is from the crime statistics at FBI.gov.

@SunsetSix Most whites back then treat blacks terribly! Blacks were separated from whites, treated like 3rd class citizens, and portraited badly in films! I enjoy music and films of the 40s too but if it's one thing I hate (and hope and pray never returns) back then is the mindless, senseless racism that was rampant!

@SunsetSix Yeah Right ! Blacks & Whites got along GREAT during this period in Time ? Racism was Rampant & the Norm during the 40's. Dorothy Dandridge wasnt even ALLOWED to eat or Sleep where Whites were Allowed ! It was against the Law for a NEGRO to drink water from a WHITES ONLY Water Fountain ! Black Servicemen were being Lynched & Burned in the South JUST FOR WEARING THE UNIFORM ! Who was it that gave you such a great insight into race relations during the 1940"s ?
