Thought you might like to see this. I wish I had a bigger memory stick, I could have grabbed the whole show. I have video snippets and pictures of this show on my MobileMe site here: http://gallery.me.com/pkrug/100051 and there are more pictures and stuff on a fansite I put together here: http://boomer0127.googlepages.com/

Hope you enjoy.

  • I can't remember if this was the band that used to practice in some basement with the Crowes? Anyone know? It was so long ago like 1985.

  • @fanofaestallings:

Well, they were Mr. Crowes Garden at the time, not Black Crowes. And two members of MMH ended up with Black Crowes in the current lineup. But I know they used to play the same shows often - also with Drivin' 'n' Cryin'. Funny (sad) how MMH used to be the headliner in that mix.

  • They play like crap on stage!

Probably takes a lot of lager to change my mind.

But listening to Museum, they made a great album!

  • @lotenma:

this was the only song that I had the whole track for - and my little camera could not handle the loud sounds of the heavier tracks. Not to mention that they hadn't played together in like 20 years or so. They made a few mistakes here and there but they sounded great.

  • Museum was SUCH an awesome album.

I've had the CD since it came out and just LOVE IT.

  • It still is an awesome album. Although my favorite track is Salvation Bus from the Monster EP.

  • @Boomer.. yes 1985 was early days of MCG. There was a house I think on Lake Forest in Sandy Springs if memory serves me and several bands practiced there. I was young but was a big music fan mainly due to my older brother being in a band that played in Athens and 688 at the time. I have some photos I need to dig up from those practice sessions and post. I did post the first interview with MCG my friend did on my site.

  • Yes, Steve's still beatin' the skins in 2008....

  • Wish they'd put their music on iTunes, I still have the albums but can't listen to them any more...

  • I just finished listening to it front to back when I picked up your comment.

I'll need to buy Monster, I guess. :D
