This song was actually on Jerrys 1971 solo album with Billy Kreutzmann, Jerry playing all instruments and Billy playing all percussion, a Most incredible album Indeed and so very full in my heart... God i miss you Jerry.

Ahhhhhh man. Those pedal steel leads get me every time. You have to watch this with the cartoon off the Grateful Dead Movie. Life changing.

It's best to say that this is a Jerry Garcia song frequently covered by the Dead. Only two of the Dead's members played on this studio version: Bill on drums and Jerry on everything else. That said, I always loved this seeing this song played live, whether it was by The Jerry Garcia Band or The Grateful Dead. Such a great song.
