Best Fight In The History.
The Thrilla in Manila was the third and final famous boxing match between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier for the Heavyweight Boxing Championship of the World, fought at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on October 1, 1975.

The bout is often ranked as one of the greatest fights of 20th century boxing, and is the climax to the bitter rivalry between Ali and Frazier over who was the legitimate Heavyweight Champion. That situation came about after Ali was stripped of the title over his refusal to join the armed forces when drafted during the Vietnam War. Some years later, Frazier petitioned President Nixon to restore Ali's right to box, thereby bringing about the so called Fight of the Century between two undisputed heavyweight champions in 1971.

During the whole period from before their first to their last face-off in Manila, Ali had used his wit, sharp tongue, and position with the press to take characteristic verbal pot shots at Frazier (as was his practice with all opponents—and which made good copy and controversy) but these became particularly intense, controversial and at times ugly and this verbal battery heated the rivalry into new territory.

  • @adamtheboyfromdenmar easy boy! Hadn't Frazier R.I.P. won that fight over Ali, He wouldn't be known. Frazier didn' have time to warm up that title when the colossus Foreman came in and punched it off his face. Ali did a mayor feat, He went past Frazier and fought the seemingly unbeatable foreman and regained the title. He fought Frazier to prove the world He and only He is the greatest of all times

  • @xabalebron Doubt it. I think Tyson would beat Frazier, as Tyson was a lot faster and hit pretty hard. I think it would end by TKO in round 2, maybe 3, with Tyson as the winner. This is if we talk prime-prime. Liston would probably beat Frazier aswell, as Liston hit really hard. But that is the style difference. I'd still rank Frazier in the top 5 of greatest heavyweights of all time, while Tyson to me is not even in the top 10. Liston is, but I'd rank Frazier higher than Liston.

  • @nickalo1994 Please do not talk about Frazier's looks. To me and probably 95% of the general public he is a pretty attractive man. And I've seen your picture, and you might be the ugliest person I have ever seen. So please don't talk about somebody's looks if you yourself are that ugly

  • Joe would have won the Thrilla had he fought smarter. He wanted it too bad, kept standing in range of Ali's punches. That's what makes this fight great, though. They both wanted it so bad. It could very much have turned out in favor of Frazier though.

  • ali is my favorite character in fight nifgt !! he`s ability in game is just look like in his true life

  • @loudspeaker20 but he is ugly.

  • I thought Joe was the better fighter for most of this fight.

  • every time i see this fight i think joes gonna win it, amazing body shots joe gave ali, and ali was taking some good shots, both gave it there all, amazing fight

  • @MADMAC572 The fight with Pacquio will happen in November. It's a shame that it couldn't happen now, but you are ignoring Mayweather saying no to a 50-50 split (He talks about how Pacquio will earn more than ever, well so would Mayweather, and by a wide margin). So far it's Floyd constantly stating terms for the fight, money split, drug testing, weight... He thinks it's the Floyd Mayweather show. He's going to have to be a little more realistic to make the fight.
