i bought this at my local record store. if you like it, you should too. wmg has been deleting a lot of stereolab from youtube lately. my cd says "original sound recording made by too pure, london" and "manufactured and distributed by beggars banquet recordings under license from too pure limited." correct me if i'm wrong, but beggars banquet is still an independent record label and has nothing to do with wmg. i'll take this down if tim gane or laetitia sadier ask me. it's their music.
@drugrocker I get alot of heat for telling people to go listen to broadcast's album "work or non work", because it's the closest you come to this era - Stereolab worship. gogogogo!!!

@ChoirofWolves Exactly. love their early stuff, but the career trajectory from super electric etc only lead to space lounge like you say.. and bossa nova and ba ba ba's.

@phallusbravo this early album, transient noise bursts, the early eps, the first two "switched on!" albums, basically anything before emperor tomato. everybody praises it but it is when they become the space lounge. i have no idea about what they say about their current politics but this was hard to find for a period of time and i was really happy if not sort of petrified if my metal friends found out

Finding this online makes me want to buy more SL shizzle. But again, if they act like pouty little babies... who do not want to be heard... I will satisfy them. Either way, they don't lose. I was not buying them before, but if I can hear them online, a little bit, and they bring back the old memories... including mammaries, then I am justified. But I won't buy off a group that doesn't want anyone to hear their music, without paying. Expand your sound=reap the benefits. Shut down your shound=die.

i love Stereolab and very record they made, but between 92 and 95 Stereolab were simply from another world.
