"A Call to Prayer & Action" - a special service held at Immaculate Conception Parish in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on May 22, 2008. The service was being held as a response to the immigration raids in Postville, Iowa on May 12. The raid was the largest in U.S. history, with 389 workers at the kosher meatpacking plant being taking into custody by ICE officials. To date, 297 of those detained have pleaded guilty to criminal charges.

In this clip a prayer is made, first in English, then in Spanish. The video is dark because the church lights have been turned off, leaving only the candlelight, sunlight through stained glass windows and the pulpit light for illumination.
