The inaugural class of the Cleveland Blues Society Hall of Fame is: Cow Cow Davenport, Bull Moose Jackson, Robert Lockwood, Jr, and Bill "Mr. Stress" Miller.
Sure would have loved to seen him while he was alive... about the only other real connection to Robert Johnson was Honeyboy Edwards. Thanks for posting this excellent historical piece.
Thanks for posting this... it is nice to know a little history. I had the priveledge of hearing Mr. Lockwood at a Wine & Jazz fest in Warren, O. a few years ago... when he took the stage and started to play, it was like the entire crowd stopped everything just to listen... you knew you were hearing something special.
