Afghanistan Protest: Bonn, Germany

Demonstration, Anti-War-Conference and various protest activities

The Anti-War and Peace Movement is calling for common and diverse activities in Bonn. The protests are themed "They talk peace, but wage War - Troops out of Afghanistan!" and will take place from December 3rd to 5th, 2011. We will hold a nation-wide demonstration, an international conference and will stand up against the inhumane policy of war.

@ST4leave Good question man. The information I was able to retrieve comes from the Afghanistan Protest website. One their website it states that it was an antiwar protest that wanted to highlight "inhuman policy of war". I have provided the link to their website in the video's description. I hope that helps. @ST4leave The conference touched upon several issues including the importance of strengthening Afghanistan's statehood. In this way, there would be no need for outside forces to combat against terrorist non-state actors. I believe that the people are upset, and rightfully so, that their representative governments have not been totally honest with the pubic about WHY we decied to occupy Iraq in the first place and WHY we are currently in Afghanistan.

@JsTube For the people we are fighting in Afghanistan I don’t think stopping the war, will start the peace, not for long any ways. They’ll just recoup and spread back their grip on to those who wish not to follow true Islam. What do you think?
