@Shaolin1554 Your living in the past. Nepotism was a problem, with city in the past. Today the city of Windsor will not hire you if you have relatives, that for the city, even if you are the most qualified for the job. This is because the city, is so scared of being accused of nepotism, they gone to the other extreme. This has been true for at least 10 year. Probably 15 years.

ya they do alot of work, but physicians, engineers and lawyers don't even get retirement benifits! they have to save! the city has offered a 6.3% salary increase, and the opportunity to work with new employees to secure a sound post-retirement financial situation. the stance of the city is reasonable and not in any way unreasonable. you want to "live the dream", like the gentleman in 00:43 speaks of? stay in school!

these people are hundreds and hundreds of professional people who work in many different areas of clerical and outdoor services
