Thought it would be fun to take my camera with me to my new job. So far I am enjoying every minute of it! Lynx flys to many Islands of the Caribbean, Hati, and Cuba.
@cumhumphr Being a sharp pilot will always put you ahead! And, I agree, when starting out in this business, connections can and most likely will be very usefull. Although, when you are done flying Navajos and it's time to apply to the RJs, someone to walk your resume in is the only help you can get! At least in the US!
@gt5004life I didn't say they would, but knowing the right people in the right places, and being a sharp pilot will definitely put you ahead. Simply put.
I agree instuct for a while the chance of being hired by a major airline right out of college is very slim. They are going to be wanting turbine multi-engine time, and really the only way your going to get that is if you go to regional airlines. Also you have to keep in mind if there wanting for example 1,500 total time minimum, 1,000 multi-engine minimum, and 500 pic time thats just the least. Truthfully if they see numbers a little above the minimums, they won't even look at you.
Looks like both the pilot's and copilot's yokes have been "manipulated" quite a few times (as in needs painting). Just an observation.

@cumhumphr What have you been smoking? American MAJORS would never accept a 250 hour for training as a FO.

@marick626 Actually that is not true. It's all about networking my friend and knowing the right people!
