@GarySe7en In my and your case it means f l e e i n g. What about a promise one may have given when he was a Tibetan Buddhist hundreds of years ago? I guess that means nothing, since every personality is different than other. Why should I even believe in karma? When a person dies, he returns to the light and is cleansed. Negativity cannot exist there: karma (both "good" and "bad" deeds) burns right away. Why couldn't we forgive everything and everybody?

Jacques Cousteau forgets that he is the only one that has created the inconvenient karma of being born on a planet that many people perceive (rightly or wrongly) to be over-populated.

Elitist egoists and control freaks delight in playing God. They all too easily succumb to their negative self-programming and self-loathing. This almost always manifests itself in the form of genocidal rage accompanied by messianic delusions.

It is true that our belief systems are always unsatisfactory as they are based too much on unsound assumptions and limited understanding.

Is it not better to observe what is really going on, but from the viewpoint of higher consciousness?

A wise man knows that if we are unhappy with the world, we have to transform ourselves in order to create the necessary karma to be born on a better planet.
