Exiting the Door with Ginger-Tree Frog Farm Dog Training, North Yarmouth, Maine

In order to access a resourse the dog must be calm and wait for the OKay. If the dog gets up from the "control" position than access to the resourse is removed. Once the dog resumes position access is available again. Please note, where Ginger is at in this video is neither her start place nor her end behavior. Ginger is in the latter stages of learning the behavior. Earlier in the training I rewarded frequently to make it better to be with me then to bolt out the door. She is a very impulsive dog and tends to bolt so the leash is a critical tool to keep her from being successful at bolting.
