Why is this guy so surprised? The administration has made it perfectly clear to everyone they will not waste a good crisis in order to ram through unpopular legislation. And since everything this administration has done leading up to this has been for calculated political gain, it's obvious there is no political incentive to clean up this mess quickly because they don't yet have the votes necessary to pass the cap & trade income redistribution bill.

@Gerts4th And - what's this bullshit about Obama only letting oil Co's from foreign lands drill? You don't even know that BP DOESN'T stand for British Petroleum anymore. And it's a multi-national company with JPMorgan Chase the # 1 holder of stock in BP. They own 28.34% of the Co, and that amount earns the Wall Street bank the title of "Global Ultimate Owner.” Next, at 7.99%, is Legal and General Group, a British financial company. You're not to good at this. That's why this country is fucked.

@Gerts4th And what are you talking about Obama keeps trying to reinstate the moratorium on off-shore drilling by U.S. companies? He put a ban in place for all offshore drilling after the spill, which a Judge rejected. He didn't spell out a good enough reason. So yesterday he spelled it out differently and put a ban in place for all offshore drilling because the bastards lied and can't contain a spill in deep water. Obama would've never let them drill in the first place if this was known, okay?

And the oil companies have been sitting on permits to drill on 68,000 acres of land for years, and do nothing. They only want the easily accessible most profitable stuff. He keeps trying to reinstate the moratorium on off-shore drilling by U.S. companies, yet he evidently has NO problem with letting companies from foreign lands drill in those same waters right off our shores. However the idiot Greens (the new Reds) say "No, you'll destroy the animal habitat!"
