Two days after the state Senate voted to legalize same-sex marriage, participants in New York's 42nd annual gay pride parade Sunday came to shout, dance, cheer, strut, hug and shed tears of joy, knowing that on July 24, when the law takes effect, the season for tears will begin in earnest.
It was a noisy, and jubilant, day in the West Village.

@shinobi67 I could really care less what gays do. I don't have a problem with them. The NYC parade is, by any intellectually honest person a Freak Show.. I like the way you chose to use the term "elderly white"... Ask elderly African Americans or Elderly Latino's (whom are most likely Christians) what they think of gays.... Oh, wait, insulting blacks and Hispanics isn't politically correct... Nice try at insulting me. Thanks for showing what you are..
