@magnusalexa the fuck are u smoking? they are more effective then tanks or jets or anything else. theyre fast, carry amazing firepower, can hover, and can adapt to anything. we have transport, utility, scout, attack and multi-use helicoppters.
READ!!! If you like flying helicopters like the Apache and you have an IPhone, get -'Apache 3D Simulator'- just take a look at the app and the screenshots- it is a 5 star rating ultra realistic flying simulator with free mode, mission mode, training mode, and airshow mode-just try it- You will be amazed-promise...
@magnusalexa What the hell are you talking about? Helicopters are an imperative part of war mechanics... Their use in desert storm is a perfect example of this.
helicopters are the worst kind of craft to use in battles, but hey the us govt knew this from vietnam, its a good way to get their bucks from weapons manufacturing.
be easy to take them out, my territorial army training taught me that one. dig in, cover up with a heat seeker and enough clear view to fire it, and wait. the rest of the possy get the usa troops to come in with remotely operated guns, and when the helicopters come in them dug in have a free shot.
@Happa90 Every branch has there own form of aviation. The Navy/Marines and Airforce have both fixed wing and rotary aircraft (Jet fighters, cargo planes, helicopters, etc.) The army mainly flied helicopters. The marines fly the cobra, and the army flies the apache.
@magnusalexa And the helicopter lifts up slightly, the rocket misses and it fires a single cannon blast into your hideout, killing half your men.

@magnusalexa two things ur training forgot to mention. 1). Thermal imaging sees all 2). IR flares render heat seekers inneffective.
