  • cheers mate thanks for video, good advice, hey mate have you got any advice as i am just startin my own mobile bussiness and struggling to get work, any advice on how to maybe seek out the agents, thanks

  • Hey mate, Sorry, but I haven't got any contacts - agent wise. I've just built up my own client base over a lot of years. Started out doing freebies and cheapies for family and friends to gain experience, then started getting word of mouth recommendations. That was 1977 - a VERY long time ago. Maybe other Aussie DJs out there could help you with the "agent" scene. Good Luck - Practise & N_Joy!

  • anywhere where you have a BYOB or an open bar or basically there you don't have a professional bartender you're going to have more problems with people who are just too drunk.

It might be an idea to even consider not taking bookings from non licensed venues.

  • Steve,

A good idea is when you arrive at house party point out to the owner of the property the cost to replace your equipment.

I've done this before and never has any pissed people try to push over gear as the party host know the consequences
