Another quick update on how my Indian hair is doing a few days after I had it set in rollers to define the natural curl.
I LOVE using my Silky cap at night because its so easy to use, I just pop it on my head, and its so comfortable. It really makes styling a lot easier in the mornings!

  • i dont want to sound mean, but im really not liking this on her. it looks out of place, idk, i just like its natural curl better, on her. it makes her look even more pretty(:

  • LOL that's cool, its just nice to try something different sometimes.

(Its back to normal now anyway)

  • looks great.

any chance i can get this look at home using rollers?

  • I don't see why not, but I guess it would be harder without a hooded dryer (unless of course you have one lol).

You need to use a good setting lotion like the one from Nairobi before you put your rollers in. I sat under the dryer for at least 45mins until my entire head was dry. It was worth it though!

The look and longevity of the style also depends on the kind of hair you use. If its just your natural hair then the style won't last as long, but I'm sure it'll look just as pretty :)
