Thank you, shereen86. I appreciate you taking the time to write a response. You're right in that I had no idea that this was a religious song, and I certainly didn't mean to offend anyone.

I used to like this beautiful song, but now I feel bad for being called an "idiot" and "a joke" and "not a man" and "the dumbest person".

I still think it's a beautiful song, but I won't go to places like this on the Internet anymore.

...you're lucky to have this as a declaration of faith.

I am *here* because YouTube is an open forum.

I don't know why I clicked on this link, but when I heard the song, I was captivated by it's beauty. I rarely hear a song for the first time and like it instantly, and I've never done that with a song in a language I don't understand. For all I knew, the song was about a beautiful sunny day, or a first love.

So..when I was told the song was about dividing "hypocrites" from true believers and a book sent down from heaven...

@manorrd Turkmuslim4ever is trying to tell you about Islam (in not such a convincing way i might add). This song is saying 'La ilaha ilalallah' which literally translates as 'As there is no God but Allah' Which is the declaration of faith for Muslims. We say it daily at least 5 times (during our 5 daily prayers).Then he talks about the Quran which is our holy book which we believe was sent along with the Mohammed (peace be upon him) because the other holy books had been altered/changed by humans
