Rig:
Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz with Thermalright extreme ultra 120 cooler
Corsair 4x1GB DDR2 800mhz Pro series with 5-5-5-12 or something, I forgot :)
Asus Maximus Formula mobo
Sapphire HD4870x2
Creative X-fi
1200W Thoughpower PSU (can start my car)

I only played like 10 minutes but it kept averaging round 40fps only the part I started filming it went down to 25 or so.
Anyways, completely playable on Full HD (1920x1080) 40inch Samsung HDTV with all graphic settings maxed at 'enthusiast level' and 2xAA. Vsync turned off because of FPS increase but there was some noticeable tearing.

Vista 64bit, but Warhead currently is only released in 32bit version with 64bit added later as a patch.
I wonder how much that will improve fps.

Concluding, I just got the card today and have to say it's one hell of a processing machine !

By the way, anybody tips on decreasing the screen tearing without turning vsync on ?! I have desktop refresh rate set in CCC at 70hz with 1024x768 desktop resolution. Thanks

  • @sereda008 x2 AA isn't going to dumb the fps that much..

his computer is very good, note Crysis is a nVidia GPU optimized game.

my GTX260 gets a lot better frames than him, but I bet we'd be equal in other games.

  • @NuBcoke yeah because that's gonna show us a accurate performance indication of the 4870x2

    moron

  • will a AMD Phenom II X6 2,6ghz and gt330 2gb run this game good? :o

  • @Rombbb try it without recording sound

  • what pc do you have to made that settings LoL

  • @Colubedy haha idd

  • hoezo hollands hahaha:P

  • vsync limits the frame rates of ur game to ur monitor's referesh rate.... dis is to make FPS constant on all types(high end and low end) of systems.... and the human eye can't detect much more den 60 FPS so it doesn't have any impact on performance..

  • would anyone mind telling me what vsync does?
