Most of the original AR 10s have been dewaftted or destroyed. Tgere are not tha tmany around in working order anymore. In the 1950's various countries purchased the Armalites in their requested configuration. Mine was made for Sudan though I would not mind getting a Portuguese variant. Apparently there are some collectors and parts in the States that are easy to cme across

@armouredfist what are Sudanese contracts?
-
@armouredfist How light is your AR10? I have a reproduction made by armalite and it's a great rifle too, but quite on the heavy side. I have AR15's also, but you I defenetly feel the recoil difference between an AR10 and an AR15.

I own one that was, apparently, made for a Sudanese contract. It is a great rifle to shoot. I also have carried/fired M16s, and M4s. They are all great firearms and function the same. They all fell similar in recoil, etc., when shooting them

@UndoneB4Broken lol i agree with him! toss that junky m4 away and pick up the ar 10 !! the narrator has me sold!
-
@UndoneB4Broken SCAR-Heavy etc etc. man I was was so lucky to shoot an ar10 and I can only say it is indeed a beauty to shoot. I like the .308 anyway.
Stay save

@robin6512 and when you put like that i have to agree. the abundance of the platform and parts would make it a versatile option for armed forces. all rumors of the scar and masada aside.
-
@UndoneB4Broken .......and that's why many gunmakers now make ar15/m16 types in 7.62*51 nato.......
It's not ancient: it's overlooked.
-
@Husomanul lmao..... nah buddy not quiet! hahaha AR-10 is ancient.
