How to install VST plugins in Fl Studio

(READ DESCRIPTION FOR STEP BY STEP HOW TO INSTALL VSTS/PLUGINS)

Step one:
If vst or effect has an install.exe use that, 90% of the time it installs to the right directory, If not,
path is
c://-program files( or program filesx86)-vst plugins.
If there is no install.exe, copy the .dll file and drag it into that vst plugins folder.

STEP TWO: Open fl studio, at the top click "Channels"-"add one"-"More" a window with plugins will open.

STEP THREE: Click "Refresh" at bottom right corner-"Fast Scan(recommended)"

After quick scan all new found plugins and effects will be highlighted in red, Double click to use vst.

(check the box next to the plugin to add to your favorites to add it to the channels add one menu quick menu.)

FOR EFFECTS:

Follow all the install instructions, BUT, Add a VST plugin, click it, then assign to to a mixer channel, from there on the side click the arrow and select it from the drop menu, if it dosn't show up there, click more at the top and it will be in the menu.

I do exactly what you show in the video, but after I do the fast scan, I insert and select the program (Bitcrusher) and it tells me "You tried to upload a plugin into a channel. Load the plugin Bitcrusher into the mixer instead.". It's probably something very simple, but I'm a complete noob to FL studio
