This urban music style short film, set in a careers lesson, highlights the issues associated to gender discrimination. Beth is a young girl, who voices her ambition to become a plumber, only to be dismissed by her teacher and heckled by her peers. In Beth's imagination, gender stereotypes are reversed to highlight the absurdity of these labels.
Written and directed by Adam Barnard for Company of Angels. Lyrics: VeeDoubleE. Composer: Jay Enticknap. Starring Veronica Youdell and Robert Benfield. Judging from this video I think singer, producer, and movie star are all within each of your near future. It has great theme, good acting and singing. But of course being a plumber …….??? What a dream!
