The Shimmer Nymph is PFS' entry in the "little bright mayfly nymph" category. The Rust version presented here is the most popular version of the fly, and is a good imitation of PMD and other small mayfly nymphs, especially when the water is still a touch high or off color. Other good colors are medium brown, olive, purple, chartreuse, red, yellow, and black. Recipe at www.parksflyshop.com/flytying.htm until our next vid gets posted.
