Parks' Fly Shop: Tying the Shimmer Nymph

The Shimmer Nymph is PFS' entry in the "little bright mayfly nymph" category. The Rust version presented here is the most popular version of the fly, and is a good imitation of PMD and other small mayfly nymphs, especially when the water is still a touch high or off color. For someone who doesn't have that body material what other materials would you recomend?

Thanks for the video. I tied a few up and have been having great luck on the Clackamas River in OR. I also threw a few on the Gallatin last month and did well also. Great fly.
