Why don't people attend church more frequently?

People dont go to church because the church does not tell the truth they tell you that you have too they say how to live how to act what to do with ur money its more of a push rather than a pull they crucify the newcomer Jesus would not do that he would hang around sinners and prostitutes imagine if a christian did that today oh no throw him out . Pharisees look at your own lives worry about yourself and help those in need the sinners .

the church age is over. the only thing that will matter will be your relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, not your church membership. churches today are not even telling the flock the solid truth, they are keeping the flock dump blind and starving. i do not hear any ministers telling the flock about the new world order, the fema coffins, or the fema trains, or the 3000 prision camps in the usa, or the r.f.i.d. chips for buying/selling= antichrist. the church is asleep.

One should attend church to learn and be with like worshipers, enjoy fellowship with other members, work in church community programs helping the needy, setting examples for youth.

Maybe because most christians are bigots? Maybe people disagree with their primary principles? Maybe people like being free thinkers?

I get the impression that those who say that they don't go to church because it is more about organized religion or is full of hypocrites are just making excuses. But at least the ones who said that it's hard for them to get up on Sunday were being honest, and not trying to blame it on anyone else. But for some it is simply a matter of not wanting to confront the reality that they are sinners in need of salvation. Not saying we give up on them, but be open to the fact they may never come.

most who say its because of organized religon are lying,but, i do have a hard time with the bible saying those who have a choice to accept jesus christ as their savior and do not, will go to hell. like buddhists, muslims, jewish, hindu, or any other religion, because i just dont see how being a decent, honest, loving human being but not believing in some book way back when would condemn you to "hell." plus, religions pretty much the start of every war.
