This video is my 41st installment of my 2008 marathon training. In this video, I talk about not being able to run Boston, and why I'm actually happy about it.

I also discuss the issue of setting goals, and how one some occasions, it's not always possible to meet that 100% of the time. In my case, I set the goal of beating Lance Armstrong in the 2008 Boston Marathon. Since I won't be running it this year, that still doesn't mean I should continue with my other goals. My training for other marathons continues, and I am in no way going to give up the dream. My goals have been modified, but not thrown away.

I also talk about the frustration of being unemployed.

  • You must have seen someone that looked like me. I tried signing up on Feb. 29th, only to be told that the 25,000 registrants had sold out. My goal was to beat Lance Armstrong. I guess I'll have to beat him in New York this year.
