  • @DRF42 Japanese culture is even more mixed I dare say. It's own written dialects possibly could have been devised by Joseon scholars soon after Hangeul was created, as it is written in the Annals of Joseon. The Mongols hardly had its own culture until after it came across those of others countries, especially in China. Of course, Korean culture has been influenced by Chinese, but it has kept a distinctive culture, which they recognized as unique since it first became settled.
