This video contains my top ten television shows.

*I would like to begin with stating that I don't watch much television anymore and my list will serve as evidence of that.

10) One Tree Hill (Seasons 1-4): It may seem odd that I stated only seasons 1-4 of this show, but it's because I have not watched the show regularly since the fourth season and have not seen any episode in the last two years. Even with that said, I think the first four seasons of this show are fantastic. They were a great combination of light and fun mixed with dark and serious.

9) 7th Heaven: I literally grew up watching this show and when watching the clip that I included in this video, I get both happy and sad at the same time. This show brings me back to my childhood years, when most things were simple and easy. It's so funny how a show can be so closely tied to your past, and this one certainly was for me. I love the Camden's.

8) Saved by the Bell: About four years back, I would have probably told you this was my favorite show, if not, a very close second to number two on this list. Though it is number eight now, that doesn't lessen my love for this show any. When this show was on, I was far too young to be watching it, but I did and was allowed to because I just connected with it. And also, who doesn't love Zack Morris?

7) Dawson's Creek: This really was "the show" at one point, the teenage drama that everyone loved, and I was no exception to that rule. I love how this show was able to continually keep the story lines of the main four characters fresh and exciting. I also love how this show made such a great transition from the high school years to the college years.

6) Buffy the Vampire Slayer: My gosh I was in love with this show! It was just so so good! This was the show that started the now popular obsession with vampires, and I can't be mad about it. Buffy kicked some serious butt and everyone fell in love with her for it. Seeing this character grow up and eventually get what she always wanted, to be like everyone else, was special.

5) Smallville: The truth is finally coming out...I love Superman. I seriously do. There is no need for any other superhero if you have Superman. End of story. So when this show started I was instantly hooked. This is Superman from a new and interesting perspective. Though there are many differences between this show and the original Superman lore, I loved the show none the less.

4) Boy Meets World: Another show I grew up with. Cory, Shaun, and Topanga were really special, and this series really showed that. They had a bond that refused to be broken, and it was sweet to watch every week. This show transitioned between humor and seriousness effortlessly. And the supporting cast of this show was really superb.

3) Friends: I don't know if there will ever be a show like this again. What was done on this show was done so well that it's magic that isn't often found. It really is a great example of what it looks like when all of the pieces come together. I've never laughed harder than I do when watching this show. But lets not forget what this show was all about: friends.

2) Gilmore Girls: I don't know if it's because this show takes place where I'm from, but I always felt an odd kinship with it, like there was nothing the show or its characters could ever do wrong. This was a really special mother and daughter story that isn't often told on television, especially with this type of language and humor. The Gilmore girls will always have a special place in my heart. Also, I purposely used the ending of the first episode because I had used the ending of the last in a previous video.

1) Lost: I will never be able to put into words what this show means to me. Never before, and I'm sure never again, will I connect with a show and its characters so completely. Lost was like nothing else that has ever been on television, and I will forever think of it as the best show that has ever been on the air. As I type this, and while watching the scene in this video, I'm shedding tears because this show means so much. I thank Lost for six amazing years of television.

Thank you for watching, and comments are welcome.
