  • Tony Rosato from SCTV, you know he went kind of nuts? Pretty much had a melt down and spent four years (two in police custody) followed by confinement in a psychiatric hospital as part of his probation. He seems better today...........

  • Wow, thanks for the info.... I didn't know about that.

  • Man, the fast food court at Eaton's Centre has changed DRAMATICALLY since this video was shot. I was at Eaton's Centre last week and it was jammed packed with people everywhere.

It's all fast food, junk food, at big prices. Great video I must say.

  • "On May 5, 2005, Tony Rosato was arrested and charged with criminal harassment of his wife Leah, who asserted that Rosato's deteriorating mental health had caused her to fear for her safety and that of the couple's infant daughter.[3] The charge was laid after Rosato complained repeatedly to Toronto and Kingston police that his wife, who had recently left him, and daughter had been abducted and replaced by impostors, a belief characteristic of Capgras delusion." - too much mall food i guess...

  • I dunno about 1986...but in 2010 its all brown people working at fast food resturants.

  • @Retrontario - He had Capgrass Syndrome, in which the person is convinced that their family & friends have been replaced by lookalike impostors. This caused him to behave threateningly to his wife, & he got arrested. He then spent YEARS in pre-trial custody, dismissing lawyers (due to his illness), and refusing to consent to treatment. His was the worst example of the failure of the legal & health systems. He needed psychiatric care, not jail. It took a series in the Toronto Star to rescue him.

  • Mostly, it's all food courts selling fast food, like any other mall.

  • Sadyl, I think he thought his wife and family were aliens out to get him - or something like that. Seems like he is doing better now.
