I had my dog Mocha breed-tested and found she has German shorthaired pointer in her... it makes SO much sense!!! This video was like the final proof to me- she does that exact thing, especially with the huge leaps- just because she can, for pure joy!! :D What great dogs.

Our first dog ever was a GSP! Shortly after we got a second one just like yours. A friend taught her to run a course through the pool whenever she retrieved a ball....no matter where the ball landed! From that moment on this is what she always did! Your video reminds me of her so much. GSPs were sooooo much fun! One Xmas they ate the entire roast goose- left every bone intact but licked every bit of meat off the bones!!!

@Notawesomeatall7 He's just fine with strangers. He's a bit shy at first, but warms up to new people pretty quickly. When a stranger comes over to the house for the first time, he'll keep his distance and observe at first. And then he sneaks closer to get a few sniffs in. After that he's back to normal. He never barks and isn't territorial at all.

yeah. kinda shows why they use pointers to study OCD, huh? My GSP/GWP mix just *digs* in the pool. Sticks her face under, look there's bubbles! Must be something there! dig dig dig dig dig.... repeat endlessly....
