  • I have noticed that red marks definitely take a whole lot longer to heal since I've been on Accutane. I asked my derm. about it and he said that's pretty typical- after we're done with the treatment the red spots will heal more quickly. Good video :)

  • Yea, I definitely thought it was taking extra long. I'm glad you asked! Thanks for letting me know :)

  • you have a gorgeous face! am also on accutane- my 3rd week, but intead of red marks, i get dark marks...which is worse...but am african(light chocolate) so i guess that's what should happen!

  • Your skin looks awesome, I just started my accutane this week and just made my week 1 blog on youtube. Your skin is clearin up nice. I hope that soon enough my skin will look lik yours. Good luck with your treatment. PS:Your advice was great

  • look dw the moisteriser should fix it. but your lucky man im in week 8 and im still active with liek 5 pimples kicking my ass and still havnt seen any emprovement ;(

  • for everyone its different. Before accutane I had VERY VERY oily skin. Now my oil is back about 50%. Hopefully I don't get any oilier. For most people dryness is a pain but for me it was such a relief from feeling greasy all the time.

  • Are you still having dry skin even though you're done taking it?

  • I just finished my accutane 1 month ago and I agree it was an awesome decision but dryness isn't what worry people :).

Long list of side effects. Healing is slower because you don't have those natural oils on your skin anymore.

    gl with your treatment.

  • I'm having the same experience with accutane. I'm just starting week 4 now and I have dry skin/eyes/lips, but nothing else happening. So that is great! It's definitely worth putting up with a few months of dryness for a lifetime of clear skin!
