In 2008 Dr. Na'im Akbar, America's most renowned African-centred psychologists, gave a key-note presentation at the Redefining Sanity Conference in London. GlobalFaction and Clearview Media were given the opportunity to film the Dr. as he provided a special insight into his personal experience of growth and change within the context of 60' and 70's America, and the development of the Assoc. of Black Psychologists.

  • Black's in general need to pay attention that a new liberation paradigm is needed and not some crazy religous program.

  • So, what do we do in the mean time? I'm in graduate school for psychology and I don't understand or what to understand anything that they are trying to teach me... It's like my brain rejects their information...

  • This man is has inspired me to go in to clinical Social Work to aid my people in the struggle. All my papers that I write I use his quotes and ideology we need to use this man as our translation of social welfare and behavior practice. Although whites has use their problems to resolve the black problem we need to produce more black psychologies and clinical social workers.

  • amazing men.
