Congressman Allen Boyd No-Show at Panama City FL Town Hall 8-28-2009

Congressman Allen Boyd post-poned his community health forum at Gulf Coast Communinity College in Panama City with plans to reschedule it later this year in a larger venue. The original event was initially announced as a town hall style event but in the final days leading up to it, the event was suddenly a moderated health forum requiring a ticket to attend. The Bay Patriots and other groups sent a formal request to Boyd asking him to attend a parking lot town hall after the scheduled health forum. The town hall was going on Boyd or no Boyd.




I didn't have my video camera during the town hall part (for which Boyd was a no show) but it was amazing. One citizen after another stood up and made their concerns and questions known to the crowd. The video begins just as the town hall concluded and people began moving out to Hwy 98 with signs.

I don't know what is funnier: that Allen Boyd spells "Alan" incorrectly or that this bunch spells it "Allan".

you know boyd is going to support this bill, thats why he was a no-show , i'm sure when he reschedules it will be a place where people can't protest probally a nursing home or he is waiting for acorn to get into town,vote him out
