Amy Lee was born to parents John Lee, a disc jockey and TV personality, and Sara Cargill. She has one brother, Robby, and two sisters, Carrie and Lori.
Amy had a third sister, who died in 1987 at the age of three from an unidentified illness. Amy was then six years old.
The song " HELLO " from the album Fallen has been reported to have been written for her late sister, as well as the song "Like You" from The Open Door album.

I love this song but it reminds me of how i was alone when i was 5-probabli still now and yeah i dont care if u think its pathetic but its so depressing but when amy sings "Hello i'm your mind giving you someone to talk to" i cry...

@54321lemon : no lemon it's not pathetic. you know when i was your age i was in the same dilemna as you are but as i grew older i gained more friends and more confidence... it's alright to experience sadness 'cuz it makes you more appreciative of happiness. thanks and goodluck.
