Dance Party was on Channel 6 in the 1960s in Tulsa, OK. a local version of Dick Clark's American Bandstand. In this rare film clip, two members of the band were I.J. Ganem and Jamie Oldaker. • To tell you how old I am a small group of us, my Sister and myself and some friends went to Tulsa and got to dance on it before it went off air. Oh my the memories. I would have loved if they would have kept it up. But unfortunately we was some of the few. I remember getting into the house and watching Dance Party every Saturday. Those were the days.

  • I wished I was cool enough to go on Dance Party. I couldnt dance and I wasnt cool. Too bad. However, this clip brings back great memories of Jr. High school and a great Tulsa era gone by. Thanks for posting.
