If shortsighted politicians had not allowed themselves to lose sight of the original aim - a 'common market'. What we now know is that the aim was really a superstate - which appears to be 'run' by Germany. Hitler was be laughing..

However, one may assume the Bilderberg are probably behind it all - & the puffed-up Eurocrats are kept in line with huge remuneration packages, in many cases multiple times what they would earn as politicians in their own countries!
