  • @thebadguyhall It's actually French-Creole. Technically, it is French. But at the same time, it's not. It's very confusing.

    It is a lot like French, but the fact that it is a Creole language makes it almost a language of it's own.

    It's about as different as Afrikaans and Dutch. Dutch and Afrikaans speakers can understand each other without knowing the other language, but only if they really pay attention. Same goes for Haitian French-Creole and actual French.

  • @chocoholic77cw No people from Haiti speak Creole not French. I know because my Father is from Haiti.
