Nexius i played in middle and high school i had a 2 year collection stolen in 8th grade. now im 24. freebies are awesome but can you show how a new player should get started again to compete with the community?.. Show how to make a basic deck with a budget where u can compete!

What do you have to do in order to play Magic on the computer. Can someone please respound to this comment, and tell me because I really want to play Magic but I have no cards right know. So I would like to play on the computer. :D

@R3dCom3T Thanks for the reply, the reason I asked is because I'm running an infect deck and I was a bit confused as to what happened to my opponents creatures. I also know that their is a difference between destruction and being put in the graveyard right?

@R3dCom3T only if its the toughness is reduced to 0 , its ok if the attack is 0

@CocoCrispy101 Search for Magic The Gathering on steam, just buy the duels of the planeswalkers 2012 for like 8 or 10 bucks I think? And you're done, you can play tutorials, online etc. The only bad thing about it is very limited customization (you can customize like only 20 cards in the deck and change them for others)

@somerandomhunter Yes any source that reduces a creature to zero is destroyed and sent to the graveyard

If a creature is reduced to 0/0 from any source does that mean it dies?

Picked this up on the Xbox and I absolutely LOVE IT! It is 10x more addicting for me than Yu-Gi-Oh, and I had like 700 plus cards

@CocoCrispy101 a credit card, MTGO online account and money to buy the cards, because it isn't cheap. although it is cheaper now then it was a year ago.
