  • Buy Sprouted Grain Bread, make your own sandwiches, grab a bag of apples, fresh cut veggies. I PROMISE you will be rewarded with energy & good health. Furthermore, not all fish oil is created equal. I suggest you ease into use cold pressed olive oil - the taste becomes addictive. Good luck in taking control of your own health!

  • I tried sprounting sunflower seeds and got a strong reaction after eating them, a profound headrush.. it was a bit scary to be honest, is this normal? cant decide whether it was bad or not.. but Im still here lol

  • I have never heard of anyone having such a strong reaction to sunflower sprouts. However, what I would do is sprout some alfalfa or some other equally nutritious seeds and if you still have a reaction that tells me you are in dire need of real and nutritious foods. Are you in good health otherwise?

  • Im 29 and in ok health but my diet is fairly devoid of live foods.. bread and rice with chicken.. sandwitches for lunch, toast for breakfast.. peanut butter.. I try and get the odd bit of fruit and veg in. I get tired half way through the day and struggle to shift my spare tire despite excersising most days.. I got he same reaction from a strong fish oil caption once.. maybe its an alergy or maybe my body is gulping up the nutrition and im getting a rush of nutrients to my head.. cant tell

  • I encourage you to buy a tray from your supermarket with fresh cut veggies - ready to snack. Watch out for too much chicken. Hormones & crap pumped into the poor creatures that you are getting more damage than nutrition into your body. +-50 years ago, industries started using heated steel blades to crush the wheat - killed the living wheatgerm, changed the properties (longer storage) & the good stuff in the flour was destroyed. Now many people have developed allergies to wheat.

  • very good video. i didn't know about the different stages. have you ever used a sprouting bag before?

  • No, but I would like to know more about it. Do you know?

  • How did i get here from Down With Webster?

  • @ZEITGEISTism

    none, forget raw bean sprouts

Most enzymes in foods are destroyed by stomach acids.

Mushrooms are healthy cooked but slightly toxic raw.

Carrots are healthy raw but the vitamin A in carrots is more available to the body when cooked.

  • @brambau thanks for your response but ...steam them ? stir fry them ?

errr no I dont think so ...that wouldnt make them raw ! my question is what sprouts can be eaten raw safely , do you know ?

  • @ZEITGEISTism

steam them slightly and the toxicity will be removed. The Chinese stir fry them. Or refrigerate after steaming for salads/sandwiches etc.

  • @brambau

jeez what a list of sprouts you mention that are bad for you ! so whats left ?? are there any that are good for you ?

  • Great video, but I too find the not looking at the camera a bit distracting/disturbing.

  • Oh my God you are so freaking CUTE!!!! hahahaha!!!! kinda CRAZY looking but totally cute!!! I love you!!!!

  • Most raw sprouts contain hemagglutinins, which inhibit the absorption of proteins and fats. Alfalfa sprouts are mildly toxic do not eat them every day, and avoid them if you are a cancer patient, have a weak immune system or suffer from inflammation

The worst are soybeans and kidney beans, followed by Pinto, Navy, Black eye, Lima, Black beans, Aduki (Adzuki) beans, lentils and peas.

    Hemagglutinins are destroyed by cooking

please redo the video with the proper warning
