  • Huh. The way my mom does it is: when you get to the end of the first row, chain three, go into the first chain space, and make three double crochets, then one single crochet in the next chain two space, chain two, and repeat to the end.

This way is just as good too.

  • @InweTaralom You will find many different ways to achieve the same outcome with crochet. The chain 3 tends to leave holes and gaps on the side. So you can decide how you want to start your row. The first chains are nothing more than a step up to the next row.

  • Where do I get the patterns for the slanted shell stitch you are doing now Thank I have been looking for this patterns for a long time

  • @kizzykay1000 The written instructions are posted on my crochet blog. You will find the link in the video details below the video.

  • Im not sure... but did u make a mistake @ 3:10? if not... oh well~ good vid.

  • thank you for uploading this videos, im a begginer and i find them to ve VERY self explanitory,

But could you please suggest what size yarn is more suttable for each kind of crochet at the beggining of your videos, it would greatly help beginners like me. thanks again

  • SUNNRIZE1--- I cant help but comment on your comment...USE YOUR PAUSE BUTTON... or watch the video for a while and restart is also an option.... practice less complicated stitches before trying this. Teresa is the best teacher on youtube and you can learn a lot from her.

  • your talking way too fast maybe in the future slow down a bit

  • The way I do it is a bit different.

Instead of crocheting into the single crochet, I make the three double crochets into the two chain space. That makes a nice dense pattern.
